We’re excited to announce our collaboration with York Centre for Writing and Horrifying Children, an anthology inspired by horrifying TV, literature, and popular culture!
Are you inspired by eerie children’s television or unsettled by the unknown? Then once again, Greenteeth Press - in collaboration with York St John University - want your submissions!
Treat the brief as open to interpretation; your piece might be distantly inspired by a piece of childhood television, or perhaps a direct reference to an unsettling ventriloquist, or an estranged television show that always gave you the creeps. From Mr Blobby to the Queen’s Nose, The Demon Headmaster and Round the Twist, we understand this is a niche submission - and that’s why we love it.
Send no more than 1,000 words of prose or 30 lines of poetry (multiple pieces accepted) in the form of a Word document or PDF to [email protected]. Submissions close 15th May!
Keep an eye out for more information about the Horrifying Symposium, where we will be hosting some creative readings! Find out more on our Twitter, or on the Horrifying Symposium Blog.
